Maps of Misterra is a demanding exploration board game that invites players to uncover the true geography of a mysterious island while navigating conflicting goals. Sent by different sponsors, each explorer must carefully decide how faithfully to represent the land they discover. Will you draw an accurate map, or distort reality just enough to fulfill your secret objectives?

Gameplay revolves around progressive map building. As you explore the island, new terrain tiles are revealed and placed to form an ever-growing map. Each decision matters: where you explore, how you connect landscapes, and how closely your map aligns with the island’s true layout. The tension comes from balancing precision with opportunism, as pleasing your sponsor may require subtle compromises that risk undermining the overall map.
